The CGC Urban tests a dog's skill level in an urban setting. In order to pass the test, the dog will need to demonstrate appropriate behavior on a loose leash on a variety of urban surfaces with urban distractions including food, strangers carrying items, other dogs, transportation, stairs and elevators, tight spaces such as doorways, and urban noises such as sirens and traffic.
In this class, we will prepare for the CGC-Urban test in a variety of urban settings in the Merritt Island/Cocoa area for 4 weeks before testing on November 29. Dogs should already have their CGC title and be comfortable working in close proximity to other dogs.
Class size is limited to 6 dog/handler teams.
